Who we are

We are an independent business operating as individuals and not as a limited company. Therefore we also operate at stalls and events around the country. We are a husband and wife team that creates, designs and sells all of the products on our website.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Information provided in a contact form such as full name, email address and/or phone and physical address is collected so we can better answer your questions and queries in a timely manner.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with

When purchasing from our website your details get shared with PayPal for the explicit purposes of payment. We do not see any of the personal data except for what we need in order to complete the order placed. This information is your name, address and postcode as well as an order number. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

For orders placed on our website we retain physical/digital copies of the orders for 6 years for tax purposes only.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Your contact information

Your contact information is not stored on our website but it is sent via email to us which we delete after 30 days. We only keep the information for this long due to any further contact needed to fully answer any queries or questions.

Additional information

Our security software tracks IP addresses and locations in order to protect our website and your information. This is recorded automatically by our website. It contains only an IP address and country name, nothing more. Due to its nature, it is purely there to protect our website and your information, we do not use this information in any way except to fight against SPAM by comparing it to other records of SPAM locations/IP addresses.

How we protect your data

All data is protected by our security software which is constantly working to keep any or all information safe from hackers, spam’ers and scrapers. Our security software automatically encrypts your information and has its own firewall.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We monitor our security daily so if a breach occurs we notify the person’s whose data was breached within 30 days to notify them of the breach and offer them the opportunity to erase all their data. In the unlikely event that a breach would occur, we would also put the website on lockdown to reduce the possibility of further breach to personal information.

What third parties we receive data from

We receive data from PayPal once an order has been placed only. We do not receive any other form of data from any other sources.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

All profiling is done via out analytical software which uses no identifiable information other than browser type, date and time and an identifiable hash string to refer to the records of the visitor.

Orders are automatically stored in our database for the sole purpose of completing the order. This information may be kept online/offline for up to 6 years for tax purposes.
